The Kingdom of Elsweit was a prospering country filled with hope and a bright future ahead of it. The promise of a comfortable life appealed to many, even foreigners. During Elsweit’s culmination, hundreds of thousands of people sought citizenship to live there. The Emperor of Elsweit was described to be a kind and accepting ruler who believed in his subjects that followed him so loyally. Origin and ethnicity mattered not to him, as he believed everyone was capable of something regardless of their background. The country’s economy boomed with the influx of immigrants who provided services not native to Elsweit and created new trades they didn’t previously have. With new jobs, poverty decreased and taxes were lowered.

For years, Elsweit’s momentum continued to power through the changes that occurred. There was just one problem, the Emperor grew old and weak. Just before passing, his leadership was passed down to his only unwedded daughter with the hope that their reign could continue to prosper. Asha, the new Empress, had slightly different ideals than her father. She was unsatisfied with Elsweit’s lack of power and militia. Upon her reign, she implemented a draft for any young and capable soldiers for her quickly growing army. Asha’s ambitions didn’t end there, believing that it would take more than arms to expand their Kingdom’s control. In Elsweit’s ancient history, there were mentions of warriors bearing magic. Through vigorous investigations and experimentation, the origin of this supposed magic was brought to light within what had only been a few years. Deep within Elsweit’s territory beneath sheets of earth was ancient rock known as Alchemic Ore. The very source of the ancient warrior’s magic.

The Kingdom of Elsweit had entered an industrial magic era where all soldiers were required to undergo experimentation. The success rate was poor, and any who were incompatible with the Alchemic Ore died in the process. Due to the decline in efficient magical warriors, Asha lead a new project. Developments involving the Alchemic Ore, they created machinery that was able to summon potential candidates for their army. However, due to the premature launch of the project, this method was highly unreliable. While it did summon candidates, it was always in small to no volumes. The location in which they arrived was undetermined, and it was difficult to locate them. Currently, Asha is leading these two projects until they become successful.

The people of Elsweit strongly disagreed with their new ruler’s beliefs and morals, but dare not make a public outcry. For any who were caught protesting the Empress Asha, would find themselves publicly shamed and executed by the very soldiers that were meant to protect them. Strong armed into following under her rule, any all citizens (including those who were native to other countries) were forced to remain apart of Elsweit and contribute to their goal. To become the leading nation of their world. There was just one fatal flaw, The Republic Ceiolia. Like Elsweit, Ceiolia was a powerful and impressionable country to its people and surrounding smaller nations. Electives of Ceiolia were picked and not born. Reginald, Ceiolia’s main representative was a wise and inspiring ruler. Despite Elsweit’s threats and advancements, Reginald did not succumb to their demands. While Ceiolia was not a weak country, it lacked the ability to grow like Elsweit had with its resources and location. Bunkered in a mountainous range, it was unable to expand and grow any further. To compensate for this, Reginald had reached out to nearby nations requesting their alliance. Word on their relations is still in progress, and Ceiolia has shown no signs of advancing thus far.
